2002 f350 dimmer switch problem
Hi my names Tim and I'm new to the site. I have a 2002 f350 crew shorty with a v10.I've owned the truck for lil over a year and a half and ever since I got the truck the dash lights dont work,radio lights (factory radio), and the heater lights dont work. I replaced the headlight switch last week and the dimmer part of it burnt up within 10 minutes of installing it,so I pulled dash apart checked for broken wires nothing, so i called my buddy he told me to take steering column apart and make sure no wires for cruise area are broke did that and found a lil black plug with a metal tab on it(dont know what it goes too) and that smelt burnt so instead of cutting it off i taped it up, so i bought another headlight switch and put it in at work and as i plugged it in within 10sec the dimmer part smoked and burnt up again, Ive been racking my brain on this thing and cant figure it out yet when i turn the dmmer all way up I have the dome light? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
