i,m no expert at this! i said i,d post a few pictures so here goes. if my paint was done and nice i would probably use masking tape to protect paint. first i inserted window. second i cranked regulator to up position so two arms are as close as posible, and slid regulator inside door.
then i angled the window to be able to insert rollers
the rollers are spring loaded this is what it should look like.
then i made sure rollers were ok (first try one was not right)
with the window angled i inserted first roller easly. the second one i had to lift the whole assemble a bit for more access. the second one is the one that snuck back out on first try. it seem to work great for me this way. i was alone so i layed door down,but with a helper it should work with door installed.
Thanks for the tutorial bernette! I'll be doing this to my truck shortly and not looking forward to the job at all. I think I'll be using a lot of tape.
