Removing a wing window or vent window?

I had some problems removing the wing windows on one of my parts trucks. There wasn't enough room to get the end of the assembly out of the top of the door. It's like the door wasn't wide enough.

Here are a couple pics of the areas that I was having problems with.

And here's what the inside of a door looks like... if anyone has ever wondered. It makes it easier to see how things work this way. There's not much inside them.

IIRC you have to rotate the window as you bring it out.

^^^^^^^^^^ what he said. You have to rotate/twist whatever you wanna call it to get it out. The part is to wide to get it all out at once, but by rotating the whole assembly, you can work it out. Kinda hard to explain. Think of it like getting a large peice of furniture thru a door

I know ....You're talking about the window stop near the bottom of the channel.

Alll it takes is a 160* turn with a slight twist followed by a lip bite

I'll be more patient next time. I tried to wiggle and twist... but the planets never aligned and so forth... and the door were junk so I just bent them to get the parts out.
