"Bristol" is an old British sailing term, which describes pristine sailing vessels, and trucks likes Gavin's, Randles, and our young prince Trozie's... I struggle for that level of perfection, but I have plenty of room for improvement.
As to the R-12 A/C, I am way happy with mine, and plan on lots of use this summer in Baja.

Brian - A nap pad.....I might have to try that.
Pat - I hope it works.
Russ - Thanks for the kind words!
I didn't get much done on the truck this week.
I did get some parts.
Some assembly required.
The AC bracket needs a little more tweaking then I can mock it up.
I hope to get the parts water jetted next week.

Over the top high tech, on the A/C brackets... good job, and I am all about the stainless steel exhaust, very good choice amigo. I now feel like I am back close to the stone age with my 'shade tree' bracket, and Fred Flintstone engineering. I have to wear a bib, just to keep the drool off my shirt, when looking at your photos... My wife says "Thanks Gavin for the extra laundry"...

I got the aluminumized steel, I'm going to paint it with high temp. black.
Waldron Exhaust is where I got it.

They can ship it to a Fastenal location near you.
Sorry for getting you in trouble with the wifey.
Thanks Darren. I was a little motivated after talking to one of the guys at Classic Auto Air. I told him I was going to make my own brackets....he kinda laughed at that.
Let me get the bugs worked out on the prototype.

After I did the mock up the it looked like the bracket was a little too close to the filler neck on the PS pump. I moved the whole unit up and toward the engine.
I sent the prints to the machine shop today so I should get the parts by Friday.
