backfiring

I have an 86 f150 with a 300 straight six and a 4 speed manual. it constantly backfires when shifting most from 2nd to 3rd gear rpms at this point are usually between 2500 and 3000. Need help finding the problem and fixing it.

First thing to do is pull the codes from the computer.
