Flywheel is stationary... the... clurch itself moves side to side... it DEFINITELY sounds like a galled bearing now thay the cover is off... so that means new assbly right?
That movement (if you're talking about rotation) is actually the rear half ("mass") of the flywheel along with the clutch moving. Yeah, sounds like it's time to put a fork (no pun intended) in it, it's done.
This all I need? I know it's not a south Bend but it's all stock and I'm not going to hop it up ANY time soon. Just exhaust and intake Once I get this done.
Those links could be for the IDI 7.3. It says 93-95, although the Stroke didn't come out until the mid 94 year, when the stopped the IDIs. If it is for an IDI, it will not fit the stroke. I look for a listing for a 96-97, then there would be no doubt it would fit.
True... it sucks but it beats injectors or a new motor... right? After I get this fixed I'll do intake/exhaust to get it to breathe better... then drive the hell outta it!
Well I ordered the combination of luk clutch and flywheel kit. Also ordered a new slave and master cylinder... dropped it off at the shop today and hope to have it back next week...
