Common core is going to be the death of many children's drive for education...
My calculus instructor did her masters working on implementing common core. She's a sweet lady but no way would I want her math and world skills setting the standard for American students.

I hate it. It's turned me into such a freak in the last few years. When I'm at my parents I wont touch half of their dogs, and once I've seen someone pet that dog, I will no longer touch them without cringing...
I almost moved to Idaho a few years ago just to get away from the poison oak.

There are parts of Idaho that are very similar to where I live. I grew up in a a mountainous river valley and to me there's no place like that on Earth. My grandpa just moved up to Idaho last fall. I wouldn't mind going up there but the job options are pretty limited in the field I'd like to get into...
