Ear plugs, and a sleep mask, that is my tip for working the night shift.

I don't like the night shift either. I was doing 2 Bed Bath and Beyond remodels...started at 9pm until 7am. Talk about messing with the body. The money was great but I like days a whole lot better.

Yeah, what he said. ^^

There is a slight possibility that I might move to Oregon in June or July of this year. Have only had the idea for about 6 hours now, and it would take the SSDI people approving some back pay to me for me to even have a chance at doing it. (The U-haul truck rental alone would be $1,600, which does not include a trailer to tow my Ranger on, that would be an additional $200). Assuming I find a Ranger I want before moving up there.

The reasoning behind this is that it is cheaper to live up there, I can rent a 3 bedroom apartment for $595, or a 2 bedroom for $495, gas prices are lower, and they are not experiencing a drought up there either. However, the main reason is my brother lives up there, and we could share an apartment together if he wishes (hence the 3 bedroom) or if he doesn't, I would rent the 2 bedroom. He currently lives in a 2 bedroom apartment but uses the second bedroom as a storage unit because the storage facility he rented from went out of business. And the only other storage facility in town not only charges too much, they are full.

There are pros and cons to everything of course, and the downside is that I would be leaving my friends, and church here, and making new ones up there, and I would have to learn how to drive in the snow/ice during the winters. However, no more 100 degree months, and there are plenty of mountain roads to use the 4x4 on. I would attend my brother's church so that is not an issue. Living in a town of only 8,000 will be an adjustment too, however, all I need really is the internet.

Anyway, if it does happen, then I would resign as chapter leader and there would be an election for a new one, or if only one person volunteers then he/she can become the new leader. As stated above, it is only a slight chance. A lot of things would have to fall into place before it becomes a reality. However, just wanted to throw that out there should it become true.
