Well it's been an interesting last couple of days...
Had a crew of three guys here all day yesterday putting a new hidden fastener metal roof on my shop.. They battled the wind all day and I think they did good... They first cleaned off a bunch of the bad Certainteed Shingles to make the roof surfaces flat, then put down 1/4" fan-fold insulation, then the metal on top. It lived through the storms that came last night, so odds are, it was a good install...
Of course, they had to have a guy stand on the roof of my car trailer (which I could not move and they were not supposed to) but hopefully he stayed on the edges.. The trailer is not a walk-on roof by any stretch....
Okay - pics...
The roof looks great Randy!
I've got the same material on our house. Did it in 2005 and it has held up great so far. They didn't have that multi tone stuff back then though, I would have gone with that instead of a solid color.
Well finally got to hook the trailer up to the new truck. Went and picked up our new camper last night! It's a 1966 Serro Scotty. Got it pretty darn cheap! haha Should be a fun project.
That's a cool old camper Troy.
Plan on towing it behind the street rod when it is finished?
Darned fine looking rig!!!!!
--- curious --- I forgot if I already asked you this - do you know what PSI your wheels are rated for? They look the same as mine and I want to put 110 PSI in them with the LT tires I'm about to order...
