Thanks guys. There was only one, as pictured. There was no passenger seat back, just the lower portion of the seat sitting on the floor. The driver's seat was rigidly bolted directly to the upper rear cab framing and the floor. The rear cab frame is pretty mangled. That looks like a rare item. I don't think it fits the seat that came with the truck. Anybody need one?
These were the seats that came with them 2 bucket seats on a spring with a shock in the back. Many delivery men took out the passenger seat because the door lock was on the passenger side.
I have an original '51 COE seat if anybody needs one. Needs recovered.
How comfortable were the original seats? I was thinking of putting them in one and having the spring and sides spray chromed. I have never rode in one. Id like to know before spending all the money.
I would hesitate to use the term 'bucket seat' to describe these. They're more like a 15" wide bench seat. You don't sit in them like a bucket, and they will have absolutely no side support. If you weigh more than about a buck forty, I can't imagine them being very comfortable. Especially long term. My 2c.
