Oil change question -

Changed the oil in Sept. -Driven a whole 1300 miles since then. Do I need to change the oil filter or can I just drain the pan & refill with fresh erl?- I know its only 10 bucks for a new filter but I cant imagine it is dirty.

1300 miles., 6 months, I would probably just take her for a good long ride to get the moisture out, and leave it as is..

I wouldn't be concerned about that either. My truck often sits for a couple months unused. I have gone well over a year on an oil change interval and there's nothing in my OA's that would indicate any problems or issues due to time.

Hey thanks guys - Think I'll let it ride for a while longer- Whenever I do drive the truck in the winter I always make sure & warm it up good, so I was thinking it was probaly ok

If it has Synthetic in it, then I would roll on. I change mine every two years unless I hit 10k miles, which has NEVER happened since joining the PSD fraternity back in 2007.
