I prefer Honey Crisp. If I have to substitute it, I go for the Jazz apple.

I have had and enjoyed the Honey Crisp here, but I don't recall seeing the Jazz. My usual selection is whatever large, red apple is on the shelf in the fruit section. I just hope that it is crisp and juicy. I hate the powdery ones.

All joking aside, find and eat a pink lady. They are the best...

I like joking and talking about eating Pink Ladies.

I'll see what I can find next time I'm out.

Evening guys. Hope all is well! The pink ladies sure are nice and for some reason, each one has their own flavor I too enjoy them

The more I have difficulty with my asthma, the more I like a propane fire too. Hopefully I can get it under control for this season and not be as puny.

I must agree with Rodney. Last trip out at Watkins Glen everyone else was trying to burn either sopping wet or green wood. I'll keep my propane pit! Hell I'm still on the same 30lb tank I filled before Maine, even with the pit going and the fridge on gas for about 30 hours.

Good morning all. Happy Labor Day. Need a quick favor. Prayers for recovery and safe travel.
My father (76) lives outside Livingston Montana. Last year we "moved" him to central California in his new home. (2016 Montana 3710FL) where he stayed for the winter and spring. He returned home in June. He was scheduled to leave to drive (2003 Z06 Corvette) on Tuesday. Well yesterday he got dizzy and fell in the garage. I was camping with no cell service. Fortunately my dispatch for a hold of Forest Service and they sent a ranger to have me call. He was airlifted to Billings and is now in ICU and stable. I spoke to him last night.
My daughter is flying as I type and will be there this afternoon.
Cindy and are are leaving shortly and starting the drive up. About 1400 miles, so about 28 hours with rig in tow.
I'm not bothering to check the weather because it doesn't matter, I'll get there.
Anyways everyone have a great day, If you see the rug going up I-15, flash the lights / wave, whatever.
Thanks for the prayers.
Keith.

Keith, safe travels and hope your father comes through ok.

I got on the labor train today. Ripped the curb out on the other side years ago. Should have just done both sides. With a new mower and bigger deck on the horizon, either the curb or tree had to go. Curb was easier to get approved and I hate it anyway. Just need some topsoil and seed yet to finish it off.

Have a good rest of the weekend guys. Time for food and beer for this guy!

Keith.
Prayers for a quick and simple resolution to this problem along with your safety and your father's health. Hopefully it is something as simple as pacemaker implantation. Please let us know how he does and let us know you got there ok.
