Just curious if anyone has successfully reconnected their broken ribbon cable back into the connector instead of replacing it? Cause I was thinking most end connectors simply crimp into the cable piercing it to make a connection. I could be wrong. Any thoughts?

Found my own answer, tore the end connector apart and the ribbon is soldered in place, so replacement is the only option, but the new after market one from Auto Zone fit and works perfect, cruise back up, air bag operational and horn is back online. The ribbon cable does wear out and simply break off, so if you are getting a constant air bag light, this is probably the source of your issues.
