429 swap

Can someone tell me if a zf5 will bolt up to a 429 thunderjet I see they will bolt up to a 460 is there anything I need to change like the flywheel or starter?????????

The 429 and 460 are basically the same engine externally. The only major difference between 429 and 460 is the stroke of the crankshaft. You will need the correct flywheel for the balancing method used for your crank. Early engines were internally balanced and later model engines were externally balanced. If you have the "hatchet" style front harmonic balancer spacer, it is externally balanced. If it is just a round spacer, then it is internally balanced
