Yes, I dipped them as well. I was a little concern about the temp resistance at first, but no issues whatsoever so far.

Hey Twitch!

I read somewhere that Plasti Dipped is rated for 300+ degrees. I've even seen people dip their exhaust tips.

Baking lights is super easy... like you have no idea. Just toss them in the oven for a few minutes and then pull them out and the lenses just come apart, it's as simple as that. You cannot mess it up unless you put it on 475 and leave them in for 6 hours.

Great, the EE lights are junk? That's what comes with the 5 pc combo front end set from Ebay. I'm waiting on my grille as we speak to have everything for the install. Wonderful news......

This is a very summed up version of a how to.

I baked mine at 275 for 10 minutes. Take out and start to pry apart, if it seems too stiff, put in for a few more minutes.

link to when I did mine.

Thanks Apoc! I think I'll give it a shot next week when I make it to WA.

Sorry Tarheeldo - The good news is it sounds like the OEM Bake-N-Paint is easy peasy. So, you could update your OEM's and sell the EE's for a little extra cash to put into the Ex somewhere else!

Thanks Twitch!

I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with attempting this now. Really appreciate the link.

Thank you, credit goes to previous owner. I don't really know, think it's Putco brand that's our best guess.

I've got the eagle eyes in mine with no problems. I do live in the high desert with low humidity though.

I have a question about the Harley Edition headlights- I saw somewhere else where someone mentioned that they had to do some cutting on the header panel to get them to fit. He didn't go into much detail, but I'm assuming he was cutting on a 99-04 header panel, right???

My header panel is broken to the point I need to replace it, so if I go with an 05 panel, the Harley lights are just a no-mod bolt in, correct?

(Bumper is not an issue- I'm changing that out as well).
