Harley Headlights?
Hey Folks
Anyone have these lights?
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Truck Headlight for Harley Davidson Models Pair at 1A Auto.com
If so, what do you think of them?
I assume they'll just plug-n-play into my 2005?
I have read about the DIY Mod that Tylus (I believe) posted but I just don't feel comfortable baking my current headlights in the oven, only to take them apart, paint, and then putthem back together. I'd totally screw that up!

Hey Twitch!
I've thought about picking up a set of OEM from Craigslist or a Pick-a-Part yard and try baking. Although, $140.00 no muss no fuss sounds pretty appealing.

Awesome. Hope they work well for you. Can't wait for pics!
I had the eagle eye ones, they started falling apart at about 1 year. I replaced with oem a few months back, HUGE difference in quality!

Started falling apart eh? Just generally poor craftsmanship and quality?
I certainly don't want to deal with junk. Even if $140.00 isn't a terrible amount of money I don't want to be replacing headlights every year or two. So, maybe I'll try to find the actual Harley OEM's or try the OEM bake and paint.
Decision, decisions...

Not to mess with it would be fairly nice. My issue is I need all my black to be the same. I even have to take my new mirrors off when I have a chance and plastidip them black as well so everything matches correctly.

I haven't started adding black yet. My god I hate the beige/gold. I cannot wait to get to WA next week and get started. That said, that's a significant concern of mine. I'm pretty CDO (It's like OCD but in the correct order) about stuff myself. So, bake-n-paint may be the way to go. So that I have more control over that stuff.
I assume you dipped your lights along with the rest of you trim, etc. and they're holdign up well?
