Anyone out there ever install one piece door glass? I bought a set from Bob's F-100 & lost the instructions. There are two black L brackets with screws in them along with two angle iron about 18" long & about 1/2" wide. Looks like the angle is some kind of brace or guide without holes. Pictirue would help if anyone has any or any ideas. These are not power windows so I'm using the same window hard ware as far as the regester.
Thanks,
Mike
"Bob" is very helpful/nice: 1-909-681-1956 too @ Bob's F-100's
I bet he'd fax, make a copy and mail, or even just reference the particular question you have and look it up for you if that's all you needed.
BTW, SacVinFord also carries the one piece conversion 1-888-FORD-100
Tnx Guys,
Called Bob's last week, I was told they sold many different kinds of on piece window kits so they were not much help haha funny cuz thats where I bought it from. I will try the mag. thats you guys suggested.

I've done the one piece window install, that piece of angle is to straighten the window opening that the window slide up through.
After you remove the vent window, look down into the door and you will see the angle from where the vent window attached and the area that the window raised through. You need to cut out the angle on the inside edge of the door and weld in that piece of angle to straighten the opening. The Sept 2003 issue just so happens to have an artical on power window installs for one piece glass setups, and it shows the cut line in one of the pictures.
I just bought the window channel kit from Hagan... only 79.00 from Southern rods. I spent a few hours yesterday getting the driver's side all set up. I used a cardboard template in place of window glass for now.
The kit is universal, so takes some work, but it is very well designed and it beat the hell out of trying to rig my own channels...

My truck is a '55... and funny you mentioned your gallery - I actually used your pics to figure out where to cut my inner door skin!
Thanks for posting that - saved me 'exploratory surgery'!
