I don't understand. Why is the US market excluded from so many American car manufacturer vehicles?
I'm not sure I'd by that Ranger - it looks like a Nissan, but I'd buy one to replace my 15 year old truck if they offered a fleet model.

Same with the Transit Connect - great van, but the US is the only place they don't offer AWD. Without it I don't want one.

Yes everyone but the U.S. can have Ranger. And diesel options no less. Can't have any competition to the f-series.

Yes, thanks to FoMoCo's decisions to not have a small/mid sized pickup in the US my next truck will be a Colorado or a Taco. Not thrilled about either of those but after seeing pictures of the 2015 Ranger the decision is easier.

Chevrolet Colorado ... MT truck of the year. And selling a pile. Each Colorado sold is a FoMoCo sale that was not made because they do not compete. But they still sell the F150, but not to Colorado buyers and not to me. If I need to move my house around on the lot, I'll rent a F150, but won't buy one.
*Someone* at the top thinks the F150 is the be-all and end-all of pickups. Sorry to disagree. Too large and cumbersome. To each their own, but ownership is not in my future.

No New Ranger for Me

I'd love to update my 22-year-old 1993 Ranger but with no way to even consider a 2015 model I'm gonna drive my '93 until it falls apart. The F-150 is out 'cuz it won't fit in my garage (see I have this thing about garaging my vehicles) and the way prices are going I don't want to pay $40K+ for a truck. If/when I do replace my Ranger it'll probably have to hold my nose and get something I 'druther not get. Now that GM has become "government motors" and Dodge is "imported from Italy by way of Detroit" I may have to consider a Toyota ... when what I want is a "First On Race Day." Dang .... ain't progress great?!

Ranger in OZ

Check this link for a 4WD comparison here in Australia. Maybe the Mazda BT-50 is available in the US as this comes from the same factory only minus the Blue Oval

You guys lament the lack of a Ranger but as a 2002 F250 owner I wish Ford would reconsider bringing back the RH drive F250. I need to update & there is no equivalent here.
