Heard a rumor today that Ford was bringing the Ranger back into production next year. Can anyone verify this? Thanks.

 

No official US Ranger comeback has been announced. The international Ranger is still in production

 

This kind of post can generally be called "click-bait".

 

I did actually come across an article a few days ago saying that Ford was "considering" the compact truck market. Got me kind of excited.

The "no more Rangers" statements by Ford remind me of the "no more Mustang" or even the "no more convertibles" rage of ... maybe 15 years ago?

We have both of them back in droves.

So I think the real question is not "will there be a redo on the Ranger" but "what will the new Ranger look like" or "what will be the options?"
