Reminds me of the origin of "Petty Blue". Story goes Petty spent every dime he had building his first race car, The rules required the cars be painted all one color, so when he went to paint it he found two leftover cans of paint in the shop, a can of blue and a can of white. Neither had enough left to paint the whole car so he mixed them together and Petty blue was born.
