Wow that looks awesome, can't believe these trucks were built from 1961 up to 1990.
did the PDI on one of the last C8000s made , back in my early days as a truck mechanic. Erinwood Ford in Missisauga , within earshot of the Oakville Ontario Ford Assembly plant. used to race new trucks up and down the QEW on their PDIs .
never saw a nice 2tone paint combo on one like this.
Cornwelltoolman, nice truck! Looks like that V10 is a good swap. It fits better than the 6bt we were talking about before. I am still plugging along with my cummins swap, not making progress like you are though. Nice job!
What did you do with the Detroit you pulled out? I have one in an 80's Ford delivery truck. It runs good but I'm not sure what its worth. I realize they are not a popular engine, are they worth anything more than scrap price?

I sold it they are not worth much I think 200 is all I got
Love your truck. I am in the process of building a ramp truck out of mine. Curious what size tires and wheels you used on yours? Did you convert the front hubs from stud to hub pilot?
