Re-adding front fuel tank

So I found a guy on craigs list selling a front fuel tank that looks to be in great shape for $25. I would absolutely love to have a front tank again...

Here's the story. I currently only have a rear fuel tank. I guess the previous owner removed it for some reason and added an electronic fuel pump, at least that's what he told me. Funny thing is the gas gauge on my cluster only works when the fuel selector switch is on the front (there is no front remember). So i can only check it my fuel level before I start driving or only for a few moments while driving (or she stalls out).

How much would go into re-adding a front fuel tank and make everything work correctly?

Depends on the engine you have and the fuel system you have. You said it's already been modified, so you will have to work around or with that also.

300 sixes, carbed 302's and 351w's were basically the same. 460's were different and fuel injected 302's were different.
