fuel problem

fuel problem
my f350 broke down on me this afternoon, it acted as if it was out of fuel there is fuel in the main and in the aux. tank,
i think somthing it wrong with the system i put $22. in the main tank then tryed to put some in the aux tank but it was overflowing when i opened it, i have not put any fuel in this tank, so i believe that the aux is pulling the fuel out of the main tank the aux is now half full but truck will not start.
