Transmission Temps

Hi Everyone,

I just programmed my Scangauge to read the tranny temps and I was wondering what numbers others were registering during normal driving? During my usual drive to work mine didn't get over 158 degrees. The outside temperature was 18 degrees Farenheit.
Thanks,

Rob

Highest I have seen my 4r100 get up to was around 155 degrees F. That was climbing a mountain though. I think mine can get up to around 200 with out issues but not positive on that.

Wait till it's 100* outside, throw on a 11k camper and drive through Washington DC rush hour traffic, then report back

Thanks Everybody,

I had no idea what would be a "normal" temperature to watch for.
