So Ill be upgrading to 2008 mirrors here soon, and was wondering where to get an adapter harness, if one exist that is. I have a 2000 with the little sissy mirrors, but they are power and heated.
The adapters, it depends on if you are buying 08+ OEM mirrors, or the aftermarket conversion mirrors that have the 02-07 style plug on them. you should have the 2 Most of the reputable suppliers will include these. Ford also makes the round adapter to convert to the 02-07 style harness. There is info in this thread.
I don't know off hand of anyone that makes an adapter to go the actual 08+ OEM harness. Most people just wire them up.

I am in the beginning stage of my swap to 2008+ mirrors. I am waiting on delivery of my last few needed parts and some time so I can finish it up.
My goal is to have a clean and as close to factory setup for my power fold and power extend mirrors.
I am using information gathered by users on another site but I think this will benefit those here. Once done or close to it, I may create a new thread with part numbers and what I did.

I purchased one off CL and one off Ebay, still crossing my fingers on both sets that all works as expected. I think its going to always be a gamble unless you get them from a local donor truck and you can test them while they are on the truck.
