Starter?
My 69 F100 wont start, just ticks once tried to jump it and still just does the one long tick. Went and replaced the starter solenoid because thats where the sounds coming from and its still doing the same thing. Any ideas on the next step to getting this thing running again?

Step 1 (simplest). Make sure all electrical connections between battery and ground and starter are clean. (this means disconnecting them and taking a wire brush to them.)
Step 2 (next simplest). Make sure where your starter makes contact with the engine block is clean and the bolts are tight.
Step 2 (hardest part). Take your starter and have it tested.
