It has a swivel under that channel iron that goes under the axle. There is a pin welded to the channel and goes through a pipe in the box beam no way you could turn with out it.

This car dealer usually has some nice classics for sale inside. Today I saw this Ford tractor sitting out side as I drove by so I had to stop and get a picture. I do not know what year it is. It said Ford 4000 on the side. It was a fairly well done restoration.

That's an early 60's tractor. TractorData.com Ford 4000 tractor information Nicely done. Photoshop all the newfangled machinery from the background and you could have a period correct picture.
Watch out for the MF gas tractors as about 90% of them have cracked blocks.
If it has new engine oil or milky oil run from it fast as it won't be a headgasket!

I bought an MF 88 diesel with a Continental engine that had multiple cracks in the head and finding a good used one was almost impossible so I had it cold welded.
