I found a deal on Dick Cepek Extreme Country 33x10.5R15 tires. I have them on my F150 with a 2.5" lift. They are a little noisy but really pull in the mud and snow. I'm planning on transferring them to my Bronco.
Guess I should update this.. I haven't done much with the bronco, checking on it pretty regularly to make sure mold hasn't developed. The inside of the car tent used to get very stagnant and musty. I've put gravel down so it seems to be really helping. Anyways, in the last update, I mentioned my search for Turbines. I found some a while back and purchased them. 15x10. They are in pretty good shape, just need a good cleaning. I was looking at a black paint/powder coat job then having the aluminum on the fines and rim edge sanded to look like brushed aluminum. I'm not sure of that's still the plan.
Also, I took some photos of my sway bars for reference when someone asked, and I was showing another person how my Hydroboost pedal rod was set up, and mounting. Guess I can post those
First up, the sway bar stuff. It's all still stock to my knowledge.
Next, the boost brake pedal rod. A member of my Washington Chapter let me leave the bronco at his place for a while. We ran into some issues and my work schedule only let me go up there once a week. He made this small "extension" for the GM pedal rod to work with my brake pedal.
Lastly, I've been looking at replacing my 98 F150. The fuel pump is going out and I don't feel like repairing it. Being as young as I am, I am looking at opportunities to build my credit. Ivebgot 2 credit cards but those have proven to not be good enough to add a strong credit history. So, I decided my next vehicle would be something I like. I took out an auto loan and got a 1973 VW bug. It isn't a Ford and isn't nearly as capable but I've gotten more compliments on it in the 2.5 months that I've owned it, than I have on the bronco, which I've had for around 5 years. It's fun little car and needs a few odds and ends. But I like it.
