SAFETY SAFETY!!

Girls and guys, PLEASE be careful and constantly aware of where your body parts are!!

I got tied up with an industrial chop saw last Friday.. It sent me to surgery and now I can't pick up a damn wrench for at least a month, possibly longer with therapy.. Didn't loose anything but came close.. Now I'm going stir crazy looking at my trucks

Be thankful for your health and stay safe my fellow wrench brothers and sisters!!

I'm glad you are on the mend, and that it wasn't something permanent! Best wishes to your speedy recovery!

Hope you get better sooner than later JD. Tis better to be cursing nuts and bolts than physiotherapists. Took 14 months for my right hand to heal thanks to a dirty wood sliver. Danger is everywhere so be aware folks.

Glad all the parts are still there. You can never be too careful with power tools. Worked in construction most of my life so I know what I'm talking about. Let your guard down for a second and those tools will bite you. About 4 years ago my thumb met the table saw. Not a pretty sight, but I still have it. Just doesn't move too well and not much feeling in it. Hope you heal completely, the trucks will wait on you.

Scary stuff! I'm glad you'll be ok with some time. After having so many injuries over the years, I'm usually very careful when it comes to working in the shop. Leather gloves and safety glasses get used all day, every day in my shop.

I was waiting for somebody to joke about him only typing with one hand, and spelling 'safety' as 'SAFTEY'.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery...

Well that is a bummer for sure, at least you have all your parts and they will heal over time. Remember it could always of always been worse.....

Yes I am not missing much, but YOU try it and see how it feels to be missing any parts of yourself. Makes for a funny "one finger wave" though.

Hope you heal up fast and pay no mind to the "spelling bee" champs.
