Recon Big Rig Running lights

I have a 2011 F250 4X4 Crew Cab with Ford Running Boards.
Will the running boards interfer with the installation the Recon Big Rig Running lights (2nd Generation) Part Number26414?
From what I am reading on reviews the screws are crap and that I need to buy some real self tapping sheet metal screw. (heads strip out).
Little help on this.

It seems like its a universal light so I'm sure you could find a place for it to fit one way or another.

I wouldn't use self tappers, I would get a small stainless bolt instead.

I helped my neighbor install one a few years back and remember New screws are a must, need some more zip ties, and the lights will be hidden behind the brackets for the steps but install was pretty simple. He is very pleased with his lights.
