Tiny update, I have received my mishimoto coolant hoses, brake pads and rotors, brake lines, 4x4 hub seals, and a new idler pulley. I have to pick up my sct tuner from the post office tomorrow, these 12-15 hour days suck! Just waiting for my belt tensioner, caliper bracket bolts, and some other small pieces. I will be ordering bpd water pump, a new hydrobooster and an aluminum degas tank shortly. I might replace all my vacuum lines and smaller radiator hoses, there are some nice vacuum lines for the esof I've seen around. Not sure I'll get much done this weekend. I have to finish installing my kitchen cabinets so we can get our countertops installed. Who decided starting a huge excursion project while in the middle of a remodel was a good idea.... I am not sure what I am going to do with the rear suspension yet. Leaning towards swapping everything out to the superduty style.
Did you swap out the rear suspension on yours as well? I have the shock brackets and leafs, I realized the shocks mounts on the New axle are on either side where the excursions are both on the back.
I swapped 05 rear axle so I can run 05+ factory wheels. For rear suspension, I have the B mod. I plan to swap rear springs with 08-10 when I upgrade to Carli Suspension in the future. In my opinion, they are one of the best suspension company for superduty. Their suspension is tuned for street and off road. Go to youtube and look at their videos. Amazing suspension travel for a 1 ton truck.
As for rear shock mount, just use a left mount and reverse it.
No problem keeping temps up, I live in the desert so I didn't want to go with the 200, it also gets cold out here and I didn't want it to take any longer than it does to warm up. The 192 sounds just right
Sounds like the stock unit is going to work for you! Keep an eye on temperature once warmed up. The stock units tend to see a reduction in operating temperature as they wear which can result in a loss of fuel mileage and poor cabin heat.

Mixing house/vehicle projects is always fun isn't it! Looking forward to your future progress.
I've been busy, but I just got the excursion back from the guy who swapped the axles. The track bar proved to be a nightmare, the factory one was long, so I ordered an adjustable one and it was long. I had to take 2" off the adjustable track bar to get the front axle centered. Also my wheel choice didn't work out.... the backspacing tucks the wheels into the fenders, I definitely need bigger tires and a different offset to make it look ok. The rear didn't lift as much as I thought either so I need to get some stock coil isolators and ditch the leveling spacers. It turns amazingly sharp now and rides much better in the front. I have a few bugs to work out but so far I'm happy with it. On the hunt for wheels and tires again...
