busted head bolt

so my 390 has stock manifolds on it and i want to go to headers, but i currently have a bolt busted in the top section of the manifold bolts, what do you all suggest to get it out easily ( yeah i know nothing is easy about it), could i pull just the fender if i need to or do i have to pull the whole clip,

assuming you can get the remaining bolts out and get the manifold out of the way, put a larger diameter nut over the broken bolt and weld it...the heat usually breaks it free and you can just wrench it out...

I just went through this on my 79 f350 4x4. I pulled the clip, then the steering shaft, then I unbolted the mc and layed it down on the frame rails. Then I got in with my die grinder. It was a major pita. Hope that helps.

Just went through this a few weeks ago. All the top bolts broke off. I tried every tool I could get my hands on, and every trick i could find online except welding the nut on. Nothing worked. We ended up drilling and tapping new threads. This too was a pain. It was on the passenger side, I pulled the fender, but mainly because I had just filled the radiator for the second time in 2 weeks and didn't want to drain it again. We had to use a right angle adapter for the drill. A couple of the holes were off center, but close enough to work. It was a great experience for my son. Now maybe he will buckle down and get better grades and be able to pay people to work on his stuff.
