Well I quit looking an ordered an Esky license plate camera, and a E-prance mirror monitor. and wireless rec, and send units.
Decided to bench test all, before doing an install. Could not get monitor to do anything but say, no signal. Camera LCD's were not coming on, so I sent it back. I returned it to Amazon, but have been in contact with the seller "Hisgadget" and they have been truly interested in me being satisfied. I ordered a different brand before I got back to Hisgadget, and I wish I had waited. Waiting on new camera to see if problem is cured.

Received new camera, bench tested, with E-Prance monitor, same thing, no signal.
Sent it all back to Amazon. E-Prance had not answered my email, so I gave them a 2 rating. Well they got that one. Emailed me back wanting me to change my 2, but I did not.
I have now ordered another set. Let's see what happens.

I went with a tail gate latch mounted camera and a 4.3" monitor. Everything was $125. It all works great. The monitor is mounted on my visor clip. If you are interested, let me know.

I finally decided on an E-Prance Mirror 5" Monitor, and an E-sky camera, Got a screen. but no signal. Sent the camera back an ordered a different one. same thing. Ordered a different 5" monitor, the sent a 4.3 " and it only flashes a screen, and no signal. Returned the camera and the monitor and oreder another E-Prance 5" Monitor and a E-Sky CCD camera. No screen at all.
Now, I have been applying 12v to the camera, and the monitor on my work bench, before installing in the truck. Hooked up the RCA cable to Yellow input and then the white with no difference. I am only getting about 3volts out of the camera RCA output.
I no it is not rocket science, but am i doing something wrong? Any and all replies are appreciated. Jim
