transplant problem
I have need of an engine swap answer here...
Is there a site, I can visit for used parts...I've checked out jamesduff, and advanced adapters.
I need the tailhousing out of a c5 (early 80's ranger/ bronco II) and output shaft, but I dont have the resources to throw down the fat cash they sell thier adapters for...
could I get a boneyard tranny and case to sit behind my 351w..
and switch axles cheaper?
I've got my 351w built and waiting...but dont want to go anywhere until I figure out the driveline...i've already got a c4 that mates with it

I take it your putting the W351 in a 4x4, but what chassie are U using, I don't think a c-4 will hold up, I have a rebuilt c-6 and transfercase behind a smallblock 351 here in a 81 Bronco.

the c4 I have came out of the e150 I got the engine out of..
I'm puttin everything into my 88 ranger supercab..
the windsor wont be high horse...I dont have the cash to build it up like it deserves..I just rebuilt it stock...The only mod would be portin and polishing the heads..and the block hugger headers I'll need to shoehorn that engine into my ranger.
not a full size pickup..at all..
I know a 302 would work better but I got the windsor and c4 for cheap...
I found a boneyard b2 with the c5..I can use the tailhousing and output shaft on that to mate to my tcase...(that's what I understand)
I think i have the parts i need now..but I'm still a bit lost as to how to bring my 351w to life when it's all said and done...cross your fingers...this is my first transplant...we'll see how it goes..
