swap problem
I have need of an engine swap answer here...
Is there a site, I can visit for used parts...I've checked out jamesduff, and advanced adapters.
I need the tailhousing out of a c5 (early 80's ranger/ bronco II) and output shaft, but I dont have the resources to throw down the fat cash they sell thier adapters for...
could I get a boneyard tranny and case to sit behind my 351w..
and switch axles cheaper?

that's ironic..
I found that site yesterday with a little searching..and actually ended finding a core in minnesota...
found a wrecked 84 b2 with the c5 they want 175$ for the tranny
its about an hour away..but is way better than spending the 460$
that james duff or advanced adapters wants.
I'll take my junkyard stuff over that anyday.
