Distributor loose

Hello All,
How do I go about tightening down the distributor on my 85 Ranger 2.8? I can turn it with my hand. I don't think you're supposed to be able to do that. Please help. The whole assembly turns and in turn changes the idle of the truck.....
Any help is appreciated.

Distributor loose

At the base of the distributor there should be a small bracket with a bolt holding it down. Tighten the bolt. If it's not there, a trip to the junkyard might be in order.
