The complete story. When I got in the truck this morning the change air filter light was on. I checked the manual and it says not to drive more than 250 miles or it can damaged the motor. So off to the dealer I go. $72.10 and I'm on my way. Get home open the hood and start to work on it. Then I noticed the air filter indicator is unplugged from the housing. Not unplugged, broken. So that is probably the problem. I pulled it out and glued it back together but the spring and yellow part were long gone. But, now I have a new filter, why not change it. So while taking the inlet tube off the turbo inlet I dropped a screwdriver down under the turbo. I can't get it with anything. So, disassemble the turbo inlet and get the screwdriver out, replace all the plumbing to the filter housing and everything you have to do to change a filter. And the light is still on. So, I ordered the new air filter indicator from Oreilley's and it will be here tomorrow for another $23. What a way to start the day.
It's just been one of those months. Between it quitting on me and doing the needed spring maintenance I've dropped over $4500 in the last 30 days. Oh well, maybe this will be it. (I keep saying that)
Eh, just leave the tools you lose in the in the engine bay wherever they fall, you'll find them the next time you go in Only half kidding, I found a stubby 10mm gearwrench under the pedestal of an .03 once.
Haha I dropped a brand new craftsman 10mm box wrench in mine the other day. It fell down under the turbo. I just got done putting all that crap back together from doing my oil cooler. That wrench will be there until next time I have to pull the turbo! At least didn't really lose it, I know where it's at! Lol

That last statement. Truer words were never spoken.
