Flowmaster for 95 f150

I just bought a new dual flowmaster 40 off of eBay and I'm wondering if it'll be alright on my 4.9l i6.

Will drone in the cab, but that may be OK with you.

40 series = great sound but loud.

At hwy speed, there will be a constant drone, or reverberating sound in the cab when at certain RPM. If you are lucky it won't be your cruise RPM, if you are not you will quickly grow tired of it on a trip.

It'll sound like regret. I have it on my Bronco with a 5.0. It sounds good when you get down on the skinny pedal but it drones it's *** off at highway speeds

Couple things:
First, the 4.9L is not a V6, it is an inline 6.
Second, do NOT make the exhaust louder than stock on the I6. It will sound like a tractor and nobody will think it's cool.

He is just telling you the truth about how the I6s are that way you know how it is going to sound and letting you know that it is a inline not v pattern that way you aren't confusing others when you get parts or ask questions.

Yeah, I know I talked to my dad about it today and he told me it wasn't a v6 but it's a I6 instead. But still the last part wasnt very necessary.

Wow....

So you open a thread wondering how it will sound, someone corrects you (on something that is commonly known and you're clearly wrong on) and then you proceed to call him a Douche Bag.

Good luck with getting forum help in the future.

Oh and by the way, the Flowmaster website does say the 40 series will sound aggressive, will be louder and drone in the cab....do some research.

Maybe not but again the truth hurts sometimes. How many people do you know that likes a truck that sounds like a tractor? I personally don't know anybody and I know a lot of tractor enthusiasts.
I personally prefer to keep my tractor like a tractor sound and truck with a truck sound.
