after market A/c
I have a '79 F-100 2wd with a C6. It did NOT come with a/c, but did come with heat. I want/need to make this my daily driver. I'm considering a vintage air system, but in stuck on where to mount the compressor. I think I might be able to use the threaded tab where the smog pump (or what I assume was a smog pump, I have never seen anything mounted there) went. Any pictures would be great on where you guys mounted yours abs any advice will bbw greatly appreciated!

I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING! I have a 351M. I did find a few pictures of the compressor being on the top-driver side, but IMO it looks out of place and ugly. Plus the firewall pass through location is on the passenger side, so I'd have to cross the lines over the engine. Im just trying to keep it clean looking.

Mine originally had 351m w a/c. The bracket wouldn't fit the 460 so I put it in a box and cleaned my engine up too. The lines were ugly, actually still in there jus pushed against my firewall . idk why, but they're always up there for some reason( I know all three of my trucks are). Maybe for cooling?
