Dielectric Grease Conducts Electricity!

At least according to this annoying guy with the Stingray with the tired oil burner it does:






You'd think he'd realize that if it did in fact conduct electricity all the components he smeared the stuff with would short out as the current traveled from terminal to terminal...

This is why I like diesels. It's damned near impossible to get it to go up like that, no matter /how/ badly you screw up. Diesel spraying all over the top of the engine? No flame. Diesel dripping onto the hot exhaust manifolds? Usually no flame. Yeah, I know that it *can* ignite, but actually getting it to is /hard/.
