I've looked through alot of the threads and haven't found a resolution to this issue yet. I have a 1994 f150, 302, 4R70W, SAS on 35s, its having a hard shift issue. When I got it the jackass didn't even have bolts from the trans mount into the case. After I fixed that it drove fine for a few weeks including a couple 400 mile road trips. I it statered hard shifting so replace and checked calibration on the TPS, replaced the MLPS, but the issue still persists. After about 15 to 20 minutes of drive time the truck will hard shift into 2nd and 3rd, almost feels like you're getting rear-ended, then hunt for OD. Im wondering if it could be a line pressure issue, bad pcm, or internal failure. Im just tired of hunting for a fix and getting nowhere or wasting putting my new trans that's for another rig into it and getting nowhere.

Sounds like once it gets "warm" it starts shifting hard correct? need to check the trans lines for blockages. How is the truck temp? Does the trans just get cooled from radiator or is there a aux trans cooler?
No codes and all of the TSBs I could find were already taken care of. It just started happening withing the last week. No it hasn't been calibrated for the tires, I drove it for over a month with no issue from the trans.
Yes once it gets warm it hard shifts. Its a brand new auxiliary cooler I'll try blowing out the lines. I checked how the lines were run, one was laying right against the top of the cat shield so I moved that, I rewired the plug on the mpls and those together seemed to help. It's now intermittent but only betwee 1-2.
Accumulator maybe?

Mine used to and very rarely does it now, and usually after a lot of stop and go driving on a hot day like if me and the lady are shopping on a weekend or something. I just gotten used to it.
