I have a 2015 F-350 that's not even 6 months old pick-up 11/17/14 and the power fold mirror on the drivers side grinds like it has broken gears so I went to the dealer and they looked at the mirror and said that there is scratches on it and it wont be covered under warranty. The question is what happens if the mirror folds without using the switch i.e. jerks at the car wash. see photo for scratches If those scratches broke the mirror gears on a $65,000. plus truck than ford better re think building high end trucks and stick with the heater and key types there will be less problems. Rant over now what should I do?
Power adjust.
Are you thinking that they power fold, as well?
I think that's what he is saying - "I have a 2015 F-350 that's not even 6 months old pick-up 11/17/14 and thepower fold mirroron the drivers side grinds like it has broken gears..." - He thinks maybe the guys at the car wash tried to fold them in by hand and broke something!
Unfortunately for you, something clearly damaged that mirror. Your 2015 Warranty guide specifically states:
WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE NEW VEHICLE LIMITED
WARRANTY?
Damage Caused By:
• accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving
through a car wash)
