Ford Excursion wont start, one click
2000 Ford Excursion only starts once in a while, other wise we hear one click when we try to start the truck (2WD, 5.4L). Battery test= fine. Replaced starter relay, didn't fix problem -> So, jumped the starter and it works fine -> Replaced ignition switch then neutral safety switch = same symptoms???

x2, that click is almost universal across all vehicles for a bad ground. Pull the negative cable off and clean both the battery terminal and the cable connection. If that fails, check the negative cable for any breaks or corrosion.
