Hello all. I was wondering if anyone had a picture or image of the back of the ignition switch? I just recently purchased a new switch and connector from LMC today and assume that when it comes in, it will not have the same color coded wires as original. I also purchased a new aftermarket harnesses for the truck that I am almost done installing. If anyone could tell me what goes to each terminal on the back side, that would help me a bunch.

Note that the "Brake Warning Light" does not exist on the switches prior to '67, so do not be confused when you cannot find the wire, the bulb or the socket for it.
This switch, as ND has pointed out, is the later service replacement. Although it is an exact fit, your truck has no provision for that wire.
That post is grounded out at "START" to give a witness to the brake light in the cab that it is working.
Prior to '67, vehicles did not have dual front and rear brake circuits, so there was no place to put it.
However, if you decide to upgrade to dual circuits, this is the post used to momentarily illuminate the "BRAKE" light n the cab, to show that the bulb is working.
Thanks for all the help. I believe that I have everything figured out except the coil wire that comes off the new fuse panel and has to go to the switch. This is a GM coded wiring harness and to their ignition switch, it goes to the (IGN) terminal. . Any ideas of what terminal that would be according to the first switch picture above? It appears that it goes to the (S) terminal according my 66 wiring diagram which would have been a pink wire originally. (B) terminal would be (ignition power) and (A) terminal would be ( ignition switch accessory) I show nothing going to (R) terminal along with nothing going to (P) terminal which I already know that is left empty.

Sorry Numberdummy, I am new to the site as I just got the truck. This all new to me. Used to working on fox body mustangs. I am trying to figure out your post but having a hard time. I have been putting hours into wiring the Street Rod wiring harness and stressed. It is a GM color coded harness and the wording is different than Ford's. Am I correct on my previous post? Any help will go a long way. Thanks
