Did you remove the air deflector? It's just two 15mm bolts that face forward, need a deep socket and about a 3" extension and they back right out. Got to stick the ratchet down into the stator.
It's the pair of holes on the front of the intake manifold, the passenger one is right below the fuel line mounting bracket bolt. .pdf shows the bolt's location in the stator:
Watch the beginning of the Senior Master Tech video, he uses a hose pick to pop the deflector off at 1:18. A a thin prybar or a screw driver works fine. 6 or 7 little flat tabs hold it in.
Got the deflector off via breakage--thst think cracked every place I tried to pop it off the tabs. Oh well. I'll get another at some point. Funny thing is I thought I had ALL of the bolts off but there were a couple up front disguised as just a stud (had rubber caps) but I beat it. 3 hours start to finish with 30 minutes for dinner via the inlaws and 30 minutes to run to Autozone.
