Just trying to get some info on tire sizes for a 15x7 wheel. The truck is lowered 3/5. Seeing if anyone has a similar set up so I can have an idea before I go to the tire shop. Thanks
The obvious answer is that it needs to be a 15" tire on a 15" rim.
For width a general rule of thumb is that the tire should be about 1" to 3" wider than the wheel. So on a 7" wide rim you should have about a 8" - 10" wide tire, or about 205 - 255 mm. People do go outside of that range, but I've heard it recommended often enough that I won't recommend pushing farther.
You need to find out what's available and decide on what OD you want. For any given width and rim diameter a lower aspect ratio will have a smaller OD and a larger aspect ratio will have a larger OD.
