95 ranger 4x4

I have been working on my ranger for a while, and I need a transmission. I can not find a good used automatic, but I found a 90 manual, and was wondering if it would work?
any help or advice would be apriciated

Might work, depending on what engine you have, and what engine the trans was bolted to. You also need a lot of other things to make it fit and work, both petals, master cyl and line, your t case may or may not bolt to it, drive shaft may be longer or shorter.

I knew about the other parts I will need. wanted to eventually do a manual swap. but the over all length is some thing to think about and the transfer case.
thanks
