I have a 96 f250 7.3 single cab long bed. I was recently wiring up some led lights in sync with my reverse lights to help me at night. I had sliced the first one up and it worked fine. when I tried to install the second one it didn't work. so I returned the wiring back to it original way. in whitch doing so I lost my reverse light & cruise control. I have a good ground and also good continuity in the power supply from the reverse light original power source, but I do not have power being sent to them. I have checked ALL the fuses, none were blown. I traced the wire as far back as through the firewall, where it lead into another wire loom running towards the gauge pod, from there I loose it. wire color is black & pink.
I am stumped on this can someone help me with the next step?
I actually bought the truck that way this past November. I went over the wiring in the tail lights and even changed out the MLPS thinking it was that, no luck as of yet. I even changed out the entire steering column as I just happened to have a better one and that didnt help anything but the looks... I will figure it out. Its been cold here in Upstate New York. Once the weather breaks I will be all over this truck...
