You tricked me into thinking that wasn't 100 pages long, guess jokes on me for assuming.
That's why I don't use chains unless I have no other options or its a light pull. I always use straps with no d rings when it gets gnarly.

All the information one needs! Make sure those clevises are rated for the pull and don't buy the ones for 10 bucks in the hardware store! At work another company/contractor had a stuck truck and ended having the trailer ball come flying through the back window and windshield just missing the drivers head... very close call
