I bought this truck 2 days before Hurricane Sandy hit.. Picked it up from my Local Ford Dealer.. THANK GOD I BOUGHT THE FORD PLATINUM WARRANTY...
So far it has been in for the following..
Idler Pulley
Radio
Window Switch X's2
Both Inner and outer tie-rod ends.
Recently:
Overhaul for tranny
Idler pulley for PS Pump
Some Valve in the back for the rear air
2 Plugs and Coil Packs
So this last trip to the Dealer.. I brought it in because the truck would run fine.. Crusining on the Highway in OD, I would go to lean on the gas a little and the truck would start to "Buck".. But only in OD.. All other gears were fine.. Dropped it off at the dealer to have it looked at.. They told me that the Tranny was shot and needed to be rebuilt.. I said go for it.. ..
I picked up the truck and was handed a list of stuff they replaced.. (See the Recently list)..
They told me to drive the truck normal for at least 500 miles so the PCM will learn my driving habits.. I drive 5 miles and guess what.. It still starts to buck under a light load in OD only.. .. I go back and let the rep know.. He tells me to wait it out to see if it clears up..
Sounds like a misfire, typically either a bad coil or a bad boot on a coil. This will not always throw a code, if scanning you also need to look for pending codes.
The ford tech replaced 2 of my plugs and Coilpacks already.. Not sure why they would not just do all 8 at this point.. I called over to them to let them know that it still sucks.. He told me to bring it by on Monday for them to have another look at it..
I kinda agree with the whole miss fire or Fuel pump.. But, would it not do it in other Gears?

It probably is doing it in other gears. It's just more noticeable in OD because the engine has moved from acceleration to cruising mode and the RPMs are lower.
